A crew of scoundrels, survivors, and almost-heroes carves their place between the cracks of a dying Empire.
Ragtag follows a band of unlikely criminals caught between rebellion and survival in the Star Wars galaxy. When a disgraced Jedi, a mercenary Kyuzo warrior, a con-artist smuggler, and a genius tinkerer get wrapped up in the Empire’s darkest secrets, every heist, betrayal, and victory brings them closer to the shadow of Darth Vader himself. It’s a gritty, cinematic blend of Star Wars myth and tabletop improvisation — equal parts comedy, chaos, and heart.

A Human Trooper torn between loyalty, survival, and the shadow of Darth Vader.

Ragtag began as Roll to One’s first Dungeon World actual play — an experiment in blending powered by the apocalypse dice, an unoriginal IP, and directly episodic structure. Each episode incorporated dynamic decisions, live dice rolls, and mid-session audience interactions (“bean counter” mechanics) that altered outcomes in real time.
The show’s tone evolved from comedic chaos into a surprisingly emotional war story — one that bridged prequel-era politics, original-trilogy rebellion, and player-driven tragedy.
